On Saturday 6th May Thames Bridge Club held their Coronation Tournament.

For those of you who didn't come you missed out on a great day. Costumes galore, singing, toasting, food, fun and of course bridge.

Our winner on the day was Jenna with Alan a close second.

It was a real credit to our club and organizers.

On Saturday Richard, Lorraine, Bob, Gaylene, Ross and Donna paired up to head down to Matamata for a Junior tournament.

At 16 tables and two sessions the Thames light shone in both.

Session one saw Lorraine and Richard attain 2nd place with a fabulous 59% only 1% behind the winner. A slower start for our other two pairs in round one but Gaylene and Bob stormed the battlements in the second session to take top place with the highest score of the tournament - a fantastic 61%. Donna and Ross also fared well with a fourth placing.
